2007 CEP Labour Dispute

On April 26, 2007, CEP 464, the union representing BCTF administrative staff, put up pickets in attempts to stop the BCTF executive from stripping their collective agreement and demanding concessions. The strike began just hours after contract talks ended. TFEU staff joined the lines in support of CEP. On May 2, the CEP strike turned into a staff lockout by BCTF and lasted almost five weeks.
